Feature Article - July 19, 2007Letters to the Editor
Today I awoke and looked out on our white pond. I have complained to Central Frontenac about the sewage being dumped into the outlet of Big Clear Lake. They refuse to do anything about it. They say it is foam. Something tells me that if their “foam” was occurring in Sharbot Lake, all stops would be pulled to find the source and put a stop to it. What is occurring is criminal. Do you want your kids swimming in someone’s holding tank? That water is being used by everyone between Arden and Lake Ontario. Why can’t we have clean water? Why won’t anyone do something about it?
