It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Rutter on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Ellamay (Lafee) Minnie and brothers Peter James Minnie and Leonard Lafee. She leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years Gordon Rutter of Plevna. Proud mother of Mark Rutter of Plevna, Michael Rutter (Paula) of Camden East and Nicole Rutter of Kingston. She will always be cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren Ashley, Alyssa, Bryce and Brandon. Sadly missed by her sisters Elaine Lynch of Madoc, Shirley Carter (Terry) of Carrying Place, Bonnie Ray (Paul) of Plevna and her brothers Terry Minnie (June) of Harrowsmith and Jerry Minnie (Linda) of Harrowsmith. Barb will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. An interment of ashes will take place at a later date. Friends desiring may contribute in her memory to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. On behalf of Barb’s family, we would like to thank everyone who helped to get us through this tragedy. Thank you to the North Frontenac Fire Dept. who went above and beyond the call of duty, Pastor Raymond Klatt and The River Of Life Christian Fellowship, Milestone Funeral Centre and Bill James of North of 7 Restaurant. To friends and neighbours who provided us with meals, groceries money and support. We would also like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and love.
