LAND O' LAKES NewsWeb HomeNAEC Graduates 40 of it's FinestCloyne In a lengthy but moving ceremony on June 25, North Addington Education Centres double cohort of graduates took to the stage to receive their accolades and various awards, along with their diplomas or certificates. By the time the function was over, 38 young scholars had been recognized by numerous presenters, as well as dual valedictorians. It was a time for mixed emotions - joy, excitement and sadness - pointed out Natalie Black and Alyson Butler, who thanked school staff and parents for their support over the years. Those sentiments were echoed by teacher David Mathers, who told the assembly in reflection you have arrived here tonight with a sense of exhilaration, fear, regret and mostly success. You know your skills, and you are expected to share them with others. While this evening is an ending, it is also a beginning. Vice Principal Wayne Rice, who spoke in opening and closing the event, was awed that such a small school has such community support. There was over $8,000 given for awards this year. It is a tribute to the quality of our graduates that so many of our staff are here tonight.
