Ardenites medal at Canada Senior GamesBy Evelyn Izzard Diane Nicolson and Marg Smith are on their way home from Summerside P.E.I., where they competed as Ontario champions in the Canada Senior Games. Diane won gold for Ontario in the predicted 200 metre swim and Marg won silver in the predicted 200 metre walk. Well done, ladies! In addition to the competition they and their spouses enjoyed meeting Canadians from every province and territory of our country as well as the many activities planned by the organizing committee in Summerside. I'm sure that all in Central Frontenac join me in extending congratulations to Diane and Marg who have been great ambassadors as well as keen competitors for our area and indeed for all Ontario!
