Josh Neadow ends high school track career at OFSAAby David BrisonJosh Neadow finished 15th in the triple jump at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) track meet at Belleville on Thursday. OFSAA is billed as the biggest high school track meet in North America. Neadow competed in the triple jump for the first time this spring and it is quite an achievement just to make it to OFSAA in such a technically difficult event. His jump of 12.28 metres, although short of the 12.75 he jumped at the Eastern Ontario regionals, was better than nine other of the elite jumpers from across Ontario.

Josh had to jump for the first time from a start line that was 11 metres from the sand pit the jumpers land in. In other meets, he jumped from a start line that was 9 or 10 metres from the pit. I found jumping farther from the pit to be a little intimidating, he said but then added, Im happy that I qualified and did as well as I could.
