Shot in Mountain Grove
Odessa Film Works
of Ottawa, under the direction of Lee
Demarbre, recently did a film shoot at Howard Gibbs Garage
in Mountain Grove in preparation for the film
"Harry Knuckles and the Pearl
Necklace" . The location, with its timeless look and
older automobiles, proved to be a most appropriate setting. Another
film made by this Canadian company is "Treasure
of the Aztec Mummy". Their
films have been featured at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park
City, Utah, and the Cannes Film Festival in Europe. Howard will get
a copy of the movie
when it is finished, so we just can't wait.
