LAND O'LAKES -NEWS & VIEWS Home Fatal collision near Sharbot Lakeby Senior Constable Neil Fennell Shortly before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, March 13, there was a fatal accident just north of Hwy.# 7, on Road # 509,. A northbound vehicle driven by William James Duncan, 62, skidded on ice and struck broadside a southbound vehicle, driven by Morley Wark, 53, of McDonalds Corners. Mr. Duncan, who was alone in his vehicle, died in the collision. Mr. Wark, also alone in his vehicle, sustained non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Perth Hospital.The accident occurred not far from Mr. Duncan's home on # 509. There was no evidence of alcohol involvement. Constable Murray of the Sharbot Lake OPP is investigating the accident.
