NAEC Adopt-a-Book Program -- A SUCCESS!!The Adopt-a-Book program at North Addington Education Centre was created to enhance our print library resources.Thanks to the staff, students, and families in the community, a total of $624 was collected to purchase 35 new books for the library.
Our library is in need of "new and updated" resources so that students can research reliable and verified information that is sometimes hard to locate on the Internet. A list of needed resources will be kept at the library, and we request that community members keep in mind that the students in our school need better resources for their research needs. Donations to the library to adopt books will be accepted all year long.
Another Adopt-a-Book program will be held in April or May, and hopefully we will be able to continue to build our resources for our childrens futures.
Thank you to all who adopted books! They will be used with much appreciation.
