Notice of Intent to Pass Budget By-Law

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Central Frontenac intends to pass a By-Law to adopt the estimates for the sums required during the year 2021 for the purposes of the Township of Central Frontenac and to set the appropriate tax rates (Budget By-law).

The proposed by-law will come before Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held on Tuesday March 9th, 2021 at 4:00 pm, said meeting to be held virtually via Zoom.

The proposed bylaw is available for inspection during regular office hours in the Clerk’s department and on the township’s website: www.centralfrontenac.com

The purpose of the bylaw is to approve the 2021 budget, set the tax rate for the 2021 taxation year, due dates for tax payments and interest rate for unpaid taxes.

Written comments regarding the proposed by-law may be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on March 8, 2021 via email, in person or by phone to:
