YOUTH PROGRAMS

ARDEN - Children's interactive Reading group, Thursday evenings 5-7;30pm, community center, sponsored by the Kennebec Rec Committee, info 613-335- 2845

Northern Frontenac Community Services: STEP INTO SUCCESS: This program is for youth ages 11 to 17. This leadership training includes team building and job skills. Sessions will be held during the summer. The youth will be given the skills that will enable them to do their volunteer hours at the summer camp and various NFCS special events.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHTS: Movies nights are held typically every other month. Doors open with canteen at 6pm and the movie begins at 6:30pm. All ages are welcome. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All cash donations are welcome. Movies rotate throughout central/ North Frontenac.

YOUTH DANCES: All youth dances are for grades 5 to 8 at the OSO hall. Cost is $6. Doors open at 6pm and the dances end at 9pm. There is a canteen on site and door prizes to be won.

RED CROSS BABYSITTERS COURSES: Courses are held when and where there is a need. Youth ages 11 and up. Cost is $30, which includes the manual. Call to sign up.

AT HOME ALONE PROGRAM: Are you wondering when it's safe to leave your child at home alone for a few hours before or after school or while you run errands? This program is for ages 10 and up.
