Yet more disinformation from John McEwen (Letter to the editor, July 8), but what else is new? OLA has not boasted about running any politicians here in Frontenac's municipal elections. I also have no "Remember C-68" bumper sticker on any of my vehicles.

As he calls them "fringe views" that I hold of justice, democracy and freedom, are far from that, perhaps he would prefer not the right to his freedom of expression that landowners hold dear?

As to his defence of C-68, perhaps he would answer my question of how many people has it prevented from being murdered like Jane Creba? How can a wasteful and useless piece of trash legislation that cost 2 billion be justified? John's railings about threatening emails being treated as a criminal offence is actually interesting, considering I have several on my system from liberals such as himself. Be careful John, why would you want to penalize your own kind?

The attacks he blames on Harper against farmers are nothing compared to "mcsquinty's" policies of land appropriations without compensation to the landowner, not to mention the removal of the landowner's right to legal action in such cases of injustice and fascism.

One final thing, if I run for mayor, would you promise to be my campaign manager?
