As part of our continuing municipal election coverage, the News has prepared candidate profiles for all council and mayoral candidates in North and Central Frontenac.

Ratepayers in these townships have or will be receiving their ballots in the mail within the next few days. A large number of coters will fill in their ballots as soon as they receive them and will send them in, so we wanted to put out information about the candidates as early as possible.

We will be publishing profiles of candidates in South Frontenac, Addington Highlands, and partsof Tay Valley Township subsequently. These jurisdictions have opted for electronic voting. Ratepayers will receive PIN numbers in the mail shortly, but voting will take place between November 6 and 13.
